# Coraline Dragonfly String Lights: Customization Process
This flow shows how your unique design moves from concept sketch to finished product, tailored to your specifications.
### 1. Concept & Design Sketch
We start with your creative vision, translating it into detailed hand-drawn design sketches. These include:
- Full front/back views of the dragonfly light
- Color specifications (gold body, pink gem wings, blue tail accents)
- Technical details (size, LED placement, string light layout)
- Assembly and lighting effect concepts (stained-glass glow when illuminated)
### 2. 3D Modeling & Prototyping
Next, we turn the 2D sketches into precise 3D digital models. This step ensures every part fits perfectly:
- Split-component design for injection molding (wings, body, tail)
- Structural checks for wire compatibility (the clip mechanism for string lights)
- Lighting simulation to confirm the “stained glass” glow effect
- Quick 3D printed prototypes to verify the form and scale
### 3. Mold Development & Tooling
Once the 3D model is approved, we create custom injection molds for mass production:
- Tooling for each part (gold body, pink gem inserts, blue tail segments)
- Testing mold runs to ensure consistent quality
- Adjustments for material flow and light diffusion
### 4. Sample Production & Approval
We produce a full pre-production sample matching your design:
- Injection-molded acrylic parts with painted details
- Gem inserts applied to the wings and tail
- Assembled with white LED lights and string wire
- Full testing (lighting effect, wire fit, durability)
- You review and approve the sample before mass production
### 5. Mass Production & Quality Control
With your approval, we begin full-scale manufacturing:
- Injection molding all components
- Assembly of dragonfly light units
- String light assembly with lead wire, plug, and battery box
- 100% inspection for light function, color accuracy, and finish
- Packaging and preparation for shipment
### 6. Final Delivery
